MEET OUR FOUNDER!
G’day, I’m Bailey! I founded Bondi Bowls, at the age of 24, with the help of my family and countless miracles.
Having spent my formative years in Edmond, Oklahoma, I made the bold decision to leave behind the familiar and venture to Bondi Beach, Australia in 2018. After two years of creating a life I loved, March 2020 brought an unexpected turn. A call from my dad changed everything. His voice was shaking as he told me his doctors had discovered a tumor in his bladder and it did not look good. I could hear my mom and sister crying in the background as he told me their plans for emergency surgery in the morning.
Amidst closing borders, I boarded the first flight home to be with my family. Shortly after landing in the U.S., our prayers were answered. We learned that my dad’s tumor was a non-invasive cancer with a normal life expectancy. Unfortunately, I was not able to return to Australia due to lockdown restrictions. Now I had to trust that the Lord brought me home during a global pandemic for a reason.
I wanted to do everything I could to help my dad stay healthy as he went through treatment. So I started fueling him with a staple from my time in Australia: açai bowls.
One day, mom pitched the idea of putting these bowls in a food truck to serve the community. I have always seen my hometown as an extension of my family, so I jumped at the idea of sharing this food I loved with everyone I knew. I bought my first truck, created the Bondi Bowls brand, got our trademarks, and started the hustle without looking back.
Since opening our window on June 1st, 2020, we've grown a lot! From just one truck, we now have multiple trucks across the nation, storefronts in some of my favorite places and kiosks in different universities!

BONDI BOWLS IS NAMED AFTER THE ICONIC BONDI BEACH LOCATED IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA. BONDI IS KNOWN FOR ITS RECORD-BREAKING SURF, HIP CAFES, AND ICEBERG POOL. THE BEACH IS FEATURED ON NETFLIX SHOWS LIKE INSTANT HOTEL AND BONDI RESCUE. OUR FOUNDER, BAILEY, LIVED IN SYDNEY AND ENJOYED STARTING HER DAY ADMIRING THE BEAUTY OF BONDI BEACH.

Bondi Bowls’ mission is bigger than just serving clean and healthy meals. We desire to create community and encourage God-honoring conversation. Each truck gives in different ways, for the Wilson’s, we give to local foster and adoption non-profits.
AUSTRALIAN IMPACT
Bondi Bowls has adopted and donated to the Australian Wildlife Sanctuary. We desire to impact the world, not just our nation.
Sadly, Koala numbers are on the decline, due to deforestation and disease. Australia was ravaged by the most devastating, unprecedented bushfire season the country has ever seen in 2019. Tragically, nearly 3 billion animals, many found nowhere else in the world, perished. Many struggling Australian species, like Koalas, have now been pushed even further towards the brink of extinction.
